Good news is now in order; Apple is all set to introduce a brand new phone called the “iPhone X.” The latest iPhone will be revealed on the coming Tuesday to commemorate the 10 years of the handset. Of course, there were a number of leaks that got us excited. These leaks were about the hardware and the features that the phone will have. The name is iPhone X, but it is mainly being called iPhone 8. So we are tad bit unsure about the name. We are sure that Apple is launching its top-tier phone going by the name iPhone X.
Steven Troughton-Smith who is an iOS developer came across some references made to the latest phone. These references are directly linked to the D22 codename with a bezel-less display. It is the strongest hint till now. He also discovered separate references made to iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus in the final iOS 11 firmware, pointing that Apple is no longer in terms with using its tradition S branding. The company will also jump to iPhone 8 for its state of the art non-OLED devices. The makers are thinking of revamping the names of the upcoming iPhones as well. Well, this seems like a thrilling change we did not expect.
Apple can still work to tweak its software before the iPhone X is out in the market to be available in near stores. Some rumors are doing the rounds stating that the shipment of the phone can be delayed due to OLED shortages and the company’s “urgent” need to locate another display supplier apart from Samsung.
Our team will know more about the rumored $1,000 pricing and exact release date on Tuesday at the press event held by the company.
We will have to wait a little bit more, but it is worth it. Ardent Apple lovers are already pumped up about this and are getting their budgets in line so that they can buy this beauty.
The company has come a long way, and this milestone needs to be celebrated. Keep reading for more updates, as they are not far away.
